Ben Dennis of the Dryden Ice Dogs is having quite a year. After playing with four teams in two years, the former Thistle has settled in nicely at the Dog Pound. While not as warm weather as Texas, Dennis says he's been getting a better reception in Dryden.
"I mean weather wise, yeah, but this year we've had a good group of guys. So, it's been a lot easier for me. Everyone's been helping me out, bailing me out a lot. It makes things a lot easier," he said.
Dennis hasn't lost in regulation in 23 starts this year. He's also posted a goals against of 2.64 with a save percentage of .919.
The Ice Dogs first home game is set for March 29th.
