Following Saturday's two touchdown performance, Winnipeg Blue Bombers linebacker Maurice Leggett has been named a top performer of the week.
In the annual Banjo Bowl, the Bombers took out the Saskatchewan Roughriders 48 – 28. Leggett returned a punt 97 yards to the endzone in the second quarter, and later intercepted a pass, and ran for 54 yards for a touchdown. Leggett also recorded three defensive tackles in the game.
This is the third time this season that Leggett has been honoured by the CFL. He was named one of the league's best players last month.
