Michelle Simone was perfect this weekend.

Simone was one of seven Kenora Nordic and Biathlon Club members competing in Falcon Lake on Sunday. She shot a perfect 20-for-20 en route to finishing first in the Developmental Women 19+ division.

Adam Johnston and Tim Wehner also recorded first place finishes.

Megan Shewfelt took a step-up in competition. It was her first race shooting at small prone targets instead of the larger target plates normally used by developmental athletes.

Kenora Nordic and Biathlon Club athlete results:

Wyatt Fortner: 4th place in Developmental Boys age 11-14;

Adam Johnston: 1st place Developmental Men 19+;

Michelle Simone: 1st place Developmental Women 19+;

Jennifer Findlay: 2nd place Developmental Women 19+;

Kaitlin Almack: 3rd place Developmental Women 19+;

Megan Shewfelt: 4th place Developmental Women 19+

Tim Wehner: 1st place Master Men's 35+.

The next biathlon event is the provincial races at Falcon Lake on Feb. 18-19.
