The Saints boys volleyball team had a great season, they took the OFSAA Silver medal in November.

The Saints senior girls basketball team also represented Northern Ontario the OFSAA championships in North Bay in November.

The Eagles senior girls basketball team won silver at the NorWOSSA "AA" championships, and the Eagles boys basketball team also won silver.

The Broncos senior boys volleyball team defended their NorWOSSA title by winning gold for the second year in a row.

St. Thomas Aquinas hosted the intermediate All Catholic Volleyball Championships in November. In the Grade 7/8 Boys division St. Joe’s defeated the TA Grade 8 boys to claim gold, and in the Grade 7/8 Girls division St. Joe’s defeated the TA Grade 8 girls team #3 to claim gold.

Jun Laffin won a bronze at the U.S. national pickleball tournament in California.

Head coach Janet Hyslop of the Kenora Swimming Sharks was selected to take part in a two-day workshop that supports coaches of athletes that are 0-8 years from an Olympic performance.

And Hockey superfan Len Kroppy Kropioski was featured on a new hockey card. It was issued by Upper Deck, and it highlighted Kroppy's service as a veteran of the Alaskan campaign during the Second World War.
