The Kenora Midget AAA Thistles are on the right track as they hunt for a playoff spot in the second half of the 2017-2018 season. Cooper Witherspoon and Sam Brunton scored the goals for Kenora as they took down the Winnipeg Bruins 2-1 last night in Winnipeg. This is the Thistles first win against the Bruins of the season.

They're looking toward a double match-up this weekend when they host the Southwest Cougars. Saturday's puck drop will be at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, they hit the ice in a 2:30 p.m. matinee.
