If you've filled the tank before heading home, you might want to hear that Gilles Bisson and the Ontario NDP are moving to cap gas prices.
"The gas companies are saying, 'Oh, Mr. Ford's going to reduce the price of gas by 10 cents a litre by taking the tax off it,' and they're just moving in and taking up the room," said Bisson, with reference to Tory Premier Doug Ford's promise to lower gas prices.
Bisson introduced a private-member's bill last week in the legislature. It's designed to link the price at the pump with the price of oil.
A litre of regular unleaded will cost you $1.39 in Kenora, or $1.38 in Dryden.
