After over 30 years with the Kenora Catholic District School Board Phyllis Eikre is retiring.
She recently spoke about her time with the KCDSB.
"It's been wonderful to a part of the joy of learning of all of our students and our community," she said.
She also looked back on 2018, and how the year went for the board.
"It's been a very successful year for the Kenora Catholic District School Board. We've been able to make strides in academics and athletics, and in the arts," she said"
Derek Haime will be taking over for Eikre at the beginning of February. He will be the board's 5th Director of Education.
