Electrical repairs inside of the Kenricia Hotel in Kenora are underway.

Earlier today, Q104 and KenoraOnline reported that a Notice of Disconnect was issued to tenants of the building by the Ontario Electrical Safety Authority. The potential electrical disconnect was scheduled for today.

We have now confirmed that there has not been a disconnect, as electrical repairs are being completed inside of the building to ensure everything is safe and up to code.

Electricity is still connected, businesses will remain open and tenants are still in their residences.
