One of the country's best legal advisers has been retained, in connection with Treaty Three Police Service. Julian Falconer has been retained, in connection with the suspension of police chief Louie Napish.
Falconer has been involved in a number of important cases, including the issue of Indigenous people on jury rolls. Napish was suspended earlier this month, but no reasons were given for the disciplinary action.
The police service has 85 members serving the Treaty 3 territory. They began operating 15 years ago in 2003.
