On February 13, representatives of the Superior North Catholic District School Board contacted the Schreiber Detachment of the OPP to report a fraud by two staff members. Mary Alexa McKinnon was the KCDSB’s Superintendent of Instructional Services, and worked for the board between 2011 and 2015.
In 2014, she accepted a three-year secondment to the Ministry of Education’s Ontario Literacy Numeracy Secretariat as the Field Team Lead. She later became the Director of Education with Superior North.
