It's not going to be the best weather for the long weekend. Environment Canada's Gerald Cheng delivered the bad news.
"It looks like it's going to be unsettled, especially when we get to early Saturday. But looking at the whole weekend, it's going to be grey," he said.
Cheng said the nicest day this weekend could be Sunday.
"The best chance of sun may be late in the day Sunday, but it seems like a lot of clouds are hanging over northwestern Ontario right now," he said.
He added that temperatures have been below seasonal lately.
"We are sitting below seasonal, and that seems to be the trend coming back to us. Especially for Kenora and northwestern Ontario we are well below seasonal. Seasonal for this time of year should be around 12 degrees and our day time highs are just no reaching that," he said.
Fall is definitely here for Thanksgiving weekend.
