The heat warning has discontinued for Northwestern Ontario.
Normally, heat warnings are issued when at least two consecutive days reach or surpass 29 degrees with overnight lows that fail to fall below 18 degrees.
Today will, however, be quite warm and humid with a high of 29 and a humidex of 35. The over night low is expected to be below that 18 degree threshold.
Tomorrow is expected to be somewhat cooler than recent days, reaching a high of 25 with the risk of showers and a thunderstorm.
Although the heat warning has been lifted, residents are advise to drink plenty of cool liquids and keep cool by dressing for the weather and spending a few hours each day in a cool place.
