Wendy Langlois is with the Ladies in Black. They joined with Making Kenora Home to raise money, during the Week of Action Against Poverty.
"We always join in, because poverty can hit each and any one one of us in different ways," said Langlois.
The sale was held yesterday at the Rideout Community Centre, with proceeds going to help those in need in the community.
Over the years, the Ladies in Black have also supplied thousands of knitwear items to help those in need combat the cold.
Earlier in the week, Making Kenora Home introduced their new edition of Stumbling into Homelessness. It included a former municipal councillor and a class valedictorian.
