Kenora has been treated with some new art work displays, just in time for Canada Day.

The Lake of the Woods Museum unveiled the Dip, Dip & Swing exhibit. The grand-opening was to show off the new art created by the Lake of the Woods Art Community.

The exhibit features painted canoes and paddles, as well as indoor pieces in downtown businesses.

The opening was in celebration of Canada's 150th, the Canada Summer Games, as well as the opening of the Path of the Paddle Trans-Canada Trail canoe route from Thunderbay to Whiteshell.

Many of the art pieces will be for sale once the exhibit closes. A catalogue of all of the art pieces and artists can be found at the Discovery Centre, and the Lake of the Woods Museum. You can also bid on some of the pieces from the exhibit online. The online bidding closes on August 20.
