Mount Evergreen is recieving some community support after a break in over the summer.
At the end of July, staff and students with the Boreal Forest School found that someone had broken into the Mt. Evergreen Ski Chalet building, broke a window, and stole some supplies.
Now the window is being replaced, thanks to Chuck Tyrrell of Tyrrell's Auto Glass.
"I just thought they could use the help. I'm always willing to help out where I can in the community," he said.
Blair McCallum is the Club President and said the donation means a lot.
“It really feels good, and it helps us out because we didn’t have to source someone from the community. He quickly offered to help out right away, so that takes some of the burden off of us and some of the worry off of us,”
The hill is run by volunteers on a non-profit basis.
