Kenora MP Bob Nault's also on the road a lot these days. He's just back from announcing $5.7 million to help youth at risk in Sioux Lookout
"This is very exciting, because there's a component of youth at risk, trying to get young people into training and into their first job opportunity," he said.
The MP has also been touring a lot of the northern communities, including a stop in Weagamow to inspect their new bridge.
"That's the beginnings of the kinds of infrastructure we're going to need to open The North up," he said.
By adding all-weather roads, members of remote First Nations will be able to drive south, whenever they feel like it, Nault added.
The House of Commons is on summer recess. Members head back in mid-September.
