It was a busy year for Kenora MP Bob Nault.
He recently took a look back at 2018.
"This year was the year of a lot of big initiatives. NAFTA comes to mind. CPTPP, which is an agreement on trade with Asia and 10 other countries. The whole issue of building an economy, building a future, that's what sort of stuck out for me as a member of parliament," he said.
Nault also said major infrastructure projects getting underway, such as the twinning of the highway, was another thing that stuck out in 2018.
Looking a head to 2019, Nault said transportation infrastructure remains at the top of the priority list, including the twinning of Hwy. 17, and building all-weather roads.
He added that making housing more affordable is a fundamental issue for everyone in the riding.
