The governing Liberals may have thrown in the towel, but Trevor Holliday of the Northern Ontario Party hasn't.
With the Tories and NDP in a dead heat, Holliday says northerners shouldn't settle for the same old thing. Instead, they should give his party the balance of power.
In recent polls, support for the party hasn't even been enough to register. However, this hasn't discouraged the bus driver from Sudbury.
Recent polls showed the NDP and PCs virtually deadlocked at about 36 per cent of the vote, which is usually short of a majority. As a result, Holliday's urging voters in Northern Ontario to elect the party's 10 candidates, when they cast ballots Thursday.
