Did you hear it? Q104 launched a new sound for the radio station on Wednesday September 26. Vice President of Corporate Development for Golden West, Carter Friesen talked about the change.
"Q104 has always been the leader in northwestern Ontario for local news, on air personalities, community promotions and areas served. And as our communities continue to develop and grow we needed to grow with them. We recently did that in the community of Dryden by adding a whole new news portal there, with DrydenNow.com. And now we plan to do it with the music we're going to play," he explained.
He emphasized everything you love about northwestern Ontario's best radio station is staying the same.
"We're still going to be the leaders in news, online, in the community, with incredible contests and prizes. The only thing that's evolving is, the music is so recognizable you won't want to turn it off," he said
It all kicked off with the Rolling Stones, and it's only getting better.
