Kirsi Ralko's a new voice on Kenora city council. During a break in yesterday's budget debate, she offered her impressions.
"I'm very excited that the general tenure of this council seems to be progressive and to decrease deficits," she said.
Aside from being a lawyer, Ralko is also a local business owner, who joined candidates in the fall campaign who called for more development, especially housing.
"I think that we're making some strides to head in that direction. I think that council's very alive to that and wants to see Kenora be open for business," she added.
