We're now seeing some results from the mayoralty races in Kenora. At Kenora City Hall, former city councillor Dan Reynard has been elected as the new mayor.
He succeeds Dave Canfield, who had served the city for 14 years in the mayor's chair.
Reynard has been serving the City of Kenora for most of his working career, and served on council for the previous four years. He says that his major priorities are to invest and expand opportunities within the housing market for seniors and young families.
He has been involved in minor hockey for over 35 years, at both the local and regional level as a coach, instructor and administrator.
Lydia Harlos had 395 votes. Reynard had 4,729.
