Ontario's Energy Minister Greg Rickford says the province is already doing it's share, when it comes to reducing carbon emissions and reversing climate change.
"That's why our government moved quickly to extend the licence of one of the safest nuclear facilities in the world, in fact the safest, Pickering.
Ottawa is poised to introduce a carbon tax, as well as rebates, in an effort to reduce greenhouse gases. Kenora MP Bob Nault explains.
"Everything that we collect from Ontarians will go back into Ontario, back into families and back into small business," he said.
The federal government's plan is being opposed by provincial governments in both Ontario and Manitoba.
