Ontario Energy Minister Greg Rickford is determined to make more reductions in the price of gas in the riding.
"Look, we've made some progress, but it's not enough," he said.
The minister would like to see prices drop another five cents a litre by spring. They've already dropped 20 cents a litre since last summer. However, they're still more than 30 cents above Manitoba prices.
Rickford adds he also expects to have a meeting with the head of the Competition Bureau, in order to discuss the situation.
