It was the 6th Annual Safety Night in Kenora yesterday. One of the kids who stopped by to check it all out was Jaxon Tresoor
"There is some cool stuff. Got to see a shocker, from the medics and stuff. Got to go see an ambulance and a firetruck. It was really cool," he said.
Over 20 booths were on the Harbourfront.
Safe Communities Kenora hosted the event. Maria Bagdonas is with Safe Communities Kenora, she explained why they hold the event.
"It's an opportunity to meet your emergency service people and resources that are available in the community, so that when you need to turn to someone you have an idea of where to go," she said.
Some of the services on site included Kenora and Fire Emergency Services, Kenora OPP, Treaty Three Police, LOW Search and Rescue, Sunset Country Family Health team, and many more.
