Students also got to show off their music program earlier this week. Avery Bond talks about their presentation.
"I think it went well. I think we got our point across about how we enjoy music. It helps bring us all together as a school community," she said.
Jackson Klippenstein agreed.
"It's always good to show off the music program, and have always have people support it and appreciate it," he noted.
During the presentation, trustees heard how the program helps with self-confidence and self-expression, as well as the ability to work together towards a common goal.
Bond won the Tudor Trophy at the 2017 Festival of Music. Klippenstein has played at the Trout Forest Music Festival and the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
