It was a busy day for Grade 7 students at St Thomas Aquinas High School. Students took part in a scavenger hunt to get familiar with theschool and staff.
Grade 7 student Brooklyn Penner talks about the event.
"It's pretty fun," she said. "It's not as confusing as I thought it was and people are really nice."
As part of the activity, students had to find specific faculty members around the school and introduce themselves.
Grade 7 students got to know St. Thomas Aquinas in Kenora a little better, as they took part in a scavenger hunt.
"As long as the kids are willing to participate in the conversation, then they just get something to kind of remember that person," she said.
Penner said students had to introduce themselves to the staff member they were meeting, then answer a question about the teacher's role at the school.
