The time is now if you're looking to get into the ticketed events for Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada.

Dan Reynard, chair of the local organizing committee, notes Thursday's alumni game is virtually sold out, Music of Hockey Day later that night has only 40 tickets left, and Saturday night's SIJHL game between Fort Frances and English River is quickly approaching capacity.

Reynard urges interested parties to act now.

“They have to jump on it – we're going to be sold out,” Reynard says. “We're getting calls now, especially with people coming in from out of town for the junior game. We've had a lot of people who follow both teams that are looking for tickets. So I would think come Saturday there won't be a ticket available for that event either.”

Breakfast with the Stanley Cup and the gala dinner banquet on Friday have been sold out for awhile.

Tickets can be purchased at the Kenora Rec Centre.

Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada begins on Wednesday and concludes with the junior game Saturday night.

Q104 and KenoraOnline are the official local media partner for the event.
