The northwest region can expect to wake up to some snow.
Environment Canada Meteorologist Gerald Cheng explained.
"There is a system passing through the area, that's why we're looking at snow. The rain and snow will start this afternoon, but as temperatures dip even further into the evening hours we're expecting the snow to accumulate overnight," he said.
Cheng said it should let up by morning.
"Tomorrow the system will have gone through. I'm only seeing flurries at this point. Light flurries and no major accumulations for tomorrow," he said.
According to Cheng we can expect between 2 and 4 cm of snow overnight.
