Snow hit the region overnight, but we should be getting a break. Gerald Cheng from Environment Canada explained.

"We are still looking at these unsettles conditions. But mostly we're just looking at flurries for the rest of the week," he said.

Cheng warned that temperature will be dropping this week.

"After this system passes we have a cooler air mass coming in. So, well be below seasonal for much of the week," he said.

Normal night for this time of year is plus 1.

Cheng took a look at what we can anticipate for the weekend.

"Looking a head into the weekend, we may see a system that will be passing through, especially Saturday night into Sunday," he said.

Make sure you bundle up, daytime highs are hovering around minus 8 for the rest of the week.
