The Kenora detachment of the OPP is investigating a break-in and theft from a local business in downtown Kenora.

Around 8:25 p.m. on Sunday night, a suspect used a large hammer to smash the window pane of Brennan’s Jewellers, and stole a variety of items. The entire theft was caught on video by a nearby security camera.

The OPP is investigating the break-in and theft, and is asking for the public’s assistance with any information that may help further the investigation.

The owner of Brennan’s Jewellers, Dean Brennan, wished to thank the public in advance for their assistance, and to the OPP for their quick response following the crime.
