Kenora ratepayers will have to wait a bit longer, before this year's property tax rates are set.
"You know, we did the review, and we're still not comfortable. There's still some issues we need to deal with," said Mayor Dan Reynard.
At this point, council is facing a 6.4 per cent increase in the total tax levy, and they aren't expecting to have their budget set until March.
As in previous years, councillors are trying to reduce the impact of a five per cent increase in property value assessments by minimizing the increase in the city's spending.
