Revised Jan 3, 2019
The deadline to nominate local businesses for the Kenora & District Chamber of Commerce’s Business Awards has been extended. Residents have until Wednesday, January 9 at noon to submit their nominations.
Residents are encouraged to take the time to let the Chamber know why you're nominating the business by including your own personal experiences. Award categories include innovation, hospitality, customer service excellence, aboriginal businesses, and much more.
“This is a great way to show our local businesses that we appreciate the exceptional service and commitment to doing business in our community,” former Chamber president, Barb Laurin.
“Include your own personal experience, and why you think they should win, and what separates them from other businesses with the services that they provide. Anyone can nominate a business, and businesses are encouraged to nominate themselves as well as other businesses.”
The banquet and annual general meeting will be held on February 6, 2019 at Seven Generations Education Institute, featuring comedian and magician Perry James.
