After more then a week in a cold spell northwestern Ontario is going warm up. Environment Canada Meteorologist Peter Kimbell explained.
"I bit of a break from the forecast. We are looking for temperatures to warm up as the winds are out of the south for the next little while and will bring warmer temperatures across the northwest," he said.
Kimbell talked about what we can expect in terms of temperatures.
"Temperatures rising to minus 2 today and then plus 5 tomorrow. So, a big change. I'm sure most people would say a welcome change," he said.
Unfortunately, Kimbell says temperatures will dropping back down again starting Saturday.
By Monday we should be back down to minus 10.
