It doesn't look like a bad weekend to have an extra day off. Environment Canada Meteorologist Geoff Coulson.
"Saturday certainly starting off very nice. A mix of sun and cloud, temperatures a little warmer then seasonal with a high of 23. Saturday night, into Sunday morning, maybe a few lingering showers with a high of 23. Holiday Monday, back to a mix of sun and cloud, and again those temperatures in the high twenties," he said.
Coulson spoke more about the potential rain.
"On the weekend, mostly shower activity late Saturday, into Sunday morning. Could be a thunderstorm here or there. Right now it doesn't look like it would be severe," he said.
There is the risk of a thunderstorm during the afternoon and overnight in the region today as well.
