It was a great first day for the 30th Annual Kenora Bass International. Over 100 teams are competing in this year's event.
After Day 1, Aaron Wiebe and Peter Tully are in the lead with a weight of 20.40 pounds.
Coming off a recent fishing trip with Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, Kenora's Jeff Gustafson and his dad, Jim, are sitting at tenth with a weigh in of 17.23 pounds.
Last year's winners, Adam Bachynski and Andrew Beernaert are currently sitting at 14th place.
Anglers will hit the water again today. Weigh ins for Day 2 start at 4 p.m., on the Harbourfront.
