Ken McKenzie's '53 Studebaker's pretty unique, but that doesn't stop him from touring around in it with his wife, Dale.

"You just don't see that many of them around," he said, comparing it to an old Ford or Chevy.

Together, they've put more than 27,000 miles on it, as they drive to shows in Minneapolis, Gimli, Winnipeg, Falcon Lake and Harbourfest.

"We drive this car everywhere," he says.

The two-door hardtop has been rejuvenated with new upholstery, engine and transmission, not to mention modern touches such as air conditioning and cruise control.

"The show at Harbourfest, we come every year. We support it," he said, noting the setting.
