What fantastic support we had this weekend for our 14th annual Toys & Toonies!

Set up at Walmart in Kenora and Dryden, we were looking for any cash or new unwrapped toy donations for the Women's Shelters of Northwestern Ontario while broadcasting live!. It was heartwarming to see the generosity as the community came together to donate. A toonie, a twenty, a toy - everything helped!

Because of your donations, Christmas will be brighter this year for families at Saakaate House Kenora, Hoshizaki House Dryden and First Step Women's Shelter in Sioux Lookout.

Thanks to our Toys & Toonies partners at Wilson's Business Solutions, Harbourfront Oil & Vinegar, Keewatin Family Pharmacy, Lake of the Woods Brewing Company, Carstar Kenora, A.K. and Company, Brown Funeral Home, Best Way Rentals & Sales, Domino's Kenora and Kenora Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, who kindly lent us the use of a Silverado to haul the load of toys collected during the day!

These donations help the Women's Shelters not only during the holiday season, but throughout the year!

Happy Holidays!
