Most people wouldn't be out in a tent this time of year. Then again, most people aren't training for missions in the Arctic with the 116th independent field battery. One of those who happen to be out on manoeuvres over the weekend is Bombardier Patrick Wall.
"It's pretty frigid this morning," Wall allowed Saturday. "But our tent groups were well set up last night. We were very well prepared with food and water, and we had stoves going in the tents, so we were sleeping in our reduced clothing on top of our sleeping bags, in some cases."
Wall is from Dryden, and he's been with the unit for the last eight years.
