Visitors to downtown Kenora were surprised to receive fresh red roses. Sally Klein-O'Connor of Los Angeles was helping to hand them out.

"A Tour of Roses is about places that have had conflict and are in  need of healing," she said.

Klein-O'Connor was joined by Yara Panther, also from Los Angeles, as well as Lura Olander of Apache Junction in Arizona.

Improbable People Ministries began in 1990, and they've toured camps associated with the Holocaust offering roses to those still living in the area.
