Jayce Halverson-Rush doesn't mind having breakfast with books these days. He was joined by his grandma Friday at King George Sixth, where they celebrated family literacy day.
"I liked the muffins and the pineapple. It was so much fun," he said.
Students were joined by Thistles, police and members of city council for the occasion.
It was also a cozy affair, as students got to weather their favourite jammies and they brought along their teddy bears for good measure. Family Literacy Day is celebrated across the country.
