Rainbows are only part of the story.
When asked about his favourite part of the Early Years Festival in Kenora, Julien Pambrun didn't hesitate.
"Making the rainbow cookies," he said with a grin.
"You would just have to make something out of it, and just give it to the people. They would cook it, then you could eat it," he added with a grin, noting his dad couldn't have any.
In the gym, Jordan Mejia and Sat Gurram were having fun with the Marston brothers, Thomas, 5, and Charles, 4. They were busy making buildings out of cardboard boxes with four-year-old Callum McNeil.
Around the corner, a table full of sparkles meant it was time to make calming jars. The more you shook them, the more the sparkles and different colours would swirl in the mason jars, until they eventually settled out.
Of course, it was all accompanied by live music.
