Kenora resident Rick Moore was a bit surprised yesterday, as he had new neighbours at the Keewatin Legion for a day.
"If you didn't look out their window, you wouldn't have known anything was happening, because they just came in, they slipped in over the weekend. They got everything set up ready to go today. It was a one-day shoot, and now you look over there, it's all gone and everything back to normal. " he said.
The CBC drama features Beaver Brae alumni and Grassy Narrows member Meegwun Fairbrother.
The show tells the story of a lawyer who returns to her small hometown, who must prove a link between toxic waste in a soccer field and the muscle spasms experienced by a group of high school girls.
Moore adds he's looking forward to watching the show, which goes into its second season this fall.
