On Saturday, February 23 when the Red Lake Miners visit the Dryden Memorial Arena, the Dryden GM Ice Dogs and the Dryden Recreation Extension And Modification Project are coming together to host the First Annual Hometown Proud fundraiser!
This fundraiser is very fitting for both D.R.E.A.M. and the Ice Dogs.
“It’s all about the arena, and the Dryden GM Ice Dogs are a high profile arena user. We ha had many Hometown Proud boys be a part of the Ice Dogs and we are all about our community and its memebers. It's about working together to met our dream! The arena is the hub of our community, it has been a huge part of my family's life and many other people's live. It's the heart of our city and the Ice Dogs play a huge role.” - Marnie Oliphant - D.R.E.A.M.
There will be a variety of fundraising activities throughout the night, including a beer garden, penny auction, signed toonie stick, and even more! An exclusive program, which will feature all of the “Hometown Proud Players” will also be available. If you purchase a program, you are in to win a 55” television!
The Goal Post will be offering the loaded D.R.E.A.M. burger, where proceeds with go to support the modification project.
There will also be a “fan bus” available for those in the Red Lake and Ear Falls areas, which will get you shopping, dinner at Mystic Grill and tickets to the game! (Refer to photo below for more.)
