Students from Kindergarten to Grade 2 at Keewatin Public School will be learning in the forest this fall!

KPS will be the first Forest School in the region, with the help of a generous donation from Domtar. Students will have the opportunity to learn in the natural environment while building their confidence, positive mental health and gaining a healthy lifestyle.ANNAPRECY

Through the Child and Nature Alliance’s Forest School Canada, staff in the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board will soon receive training in creating programs about nature and the forest.

Anna Percy is a Kindergarten teacher at KPS, and she joins Ken O’Neil on the Q Morning Show tomorrow just after 8:00am!
