Cooler temperatures and snow will continue on this week, but it hasn’t affected Debbie Schatkowsky from Debbie’s Greenhouse and Garden Centre from prepping for a busy summer. In fact, the cooler the better for her as she can regulate the temperatures in the greenhouse much easier.

In celebration of Canada’s 150th Anniversary this year, the greenhouse is getting ready to plant white and red throughout the city. Debbie says an order has already been set in place for the seeds and cuttings to decorate our city!

1500 red and white tulips were planted in the fall at the roundabout that she hopes will soon be in bloom and asks the community to chase any deer away from them!
