Mrs. Berube, the nutrition coordinator at Keewatin Public School, shared her knowledge in helping students to make healthy snack choices. Students gathered around as she showed them the sugar content that is in some popular snacks. The students brainstormed with the help of Mrs. Berube, and came up with healthy alternatives to juiceboxes and ice cream.
The student's lined up and made their own yogurt parfaits, which was decided a healthy alternative to ice cream!
