The 2018 season for the Matiowski Farmers' Market has come to an end, but definitely not without some great memories!
First off - we have to thank coordinator Helena Devins, without whom, the market wouldn't have been a great success!
Q104 loves to be out and about so we can meet the great people in our community and what better way to do so than with the Matiowski Farmers' Market. Broadcasting live at the market, we'd like to think that we made some people's summers by offering them a variety of ways to win!
People were able to enter (may I add... for free!) for our vast array of "Celebrate Summer Experiences" and we surprised a lot of them with our "Random Acts of Summer". From MS Kenora passes, stacks of cash, gift cards and ever Harbourfest tickets!
We all endured the elements that the summer weather had in-store for market days (scorching heat, extreme high winds, rain and cold! We live in Canada, eh?), but that wouldn't stop our community from going to our beloved market to support businesses throughout the area!
Another thank you goes out to Mayor Dave Canfield and Council for coming out to the last one and serving up some free lunch for the public!
Thanks to you as well, Kenora for another fantastic market season!
