More than 100 students from Grades four to six gathered today at the Clarion Lakeside Inn and Conference Centre for Kenora's Entrepreneurial Adventure Showcase! The public was invited to attend to see the students' business ventures, which included "Sweet Sandwiches" and "Le Groupe Goûter", from Ste. Marguerite Bourgeoys, "Boreal Essentials", form St. Louis, and "Helping Hands Productions", from Pope John Paul II. All businesses were selling goods and crafts to help raise money for local charities of their choice!
The Entrepreneurial Adventure showcase is part of the Learning Partnership, which has raised over 2.75 million for charities accross Canada, according to Jim Berveridge Program Manager.
