Q104 was in the dark today for several hours, but our listeners weren't!
While waiting for things to get back up and running, we decided to hit the streets and say "hello" to the people! We brought coffee to local businesses who were also without power. One of our stops was to WSL, where we picked up our generator that they had repaired. Live feeds were posted on Facebook to keep our audience up to date with us and the rest of the affected in the Norman and Keewatin areas.
We were back on-air around 11am, powered by our generator and things ran as usual. We had to shut down after hydro was restored for a short while as we converted back to normal power.
Many thanks to WSL and Bowman Electric for getting us back on the air, and to our loyal listeners for staying tuned!
