If you were hoping to get back out on the boat or any watercraft this week, you may have to hold off for a bit. Between 15 and 25 centimeters of snow is expected to fall by tomorrow. Chances of more snowfall on Wednesday and Thursday with temperatures only reaching a high of plus 2. Highway 17 has been closed from Vermilion Bay to the Manitoba border and truckers have been redirected into Kenora from the bypass. An early dismissal for school busses in the region was at 1pm today as visibility and road conditions were a concern.

The Ontario Provincial Police are advising drivers against any travel during the snowstorm.
